Community RunFest Route

The inaugural Community RunFest Rayleigh started and finished at King George V Park, which served as the heart of the event and the Community Festival.
Designed to be safe, accessible and enjoyable for runners of all abilities, the event featured a fully closed-road route, giving participants the opportunity to experience Rayleigh in a unique and supportive environment.
2.5K Children's Run
(Ages 4-11, accompanied by an adult)
A fun one-lap course designed for primary school-aged children, encouraging young runners to enjoy the excitement of taking part in a professionally organised event.
5K Run
A fantastic option for the first-time runners, families and those looking to enjoy the event at their own pace, completed over two laps of the course.
10K Run
A more challenging route completed over four laps, ideal for experienced runners or those looking to achieve a new personal best.
Throughout the morning, marshals were positioned around the course to ensure a safe, well-organised and enjoyable experience for everyone taking part. Whether participants were taking on their first organised run or chasing a personal best, the Community RunFest Rayleigh route provided a welcoming atmosphere that brought the local community together through fitness, wellbeing and achievement.
