Can I cancel/get a refund?

No. If an event is cancelled due to circumstances beyond Community RunFest's control (for example, extreme weather or a pandemic), we will make every effort to reschedule the event, no refund will be given.

Community RunFest reserves the right to amend or cancel an event, including changes to the date, time, venue or entry fees.

Will I receive a race number, and when?

If your child is taking part in the Children's 2.5K Fun Run, register them online in advance. Wristbands can then be collected from the Registration Desk on event day.

Participants registered for the 5K or 10K will receive their race bib by post if they register before the postage deadline. Entries received after this date must collect their race bib from the Registration Desk on event day before the start.

Is there a route map?

Are there water stations?

A water station will be positioned along the running route, and additional water will be provided at the finish line.

Will there be any food/stalls?

A variety of food vendors and stalls will also be present on the day for participants and spectators to enjoy.

Can I bring friends or family to watch?

Absolutely! We encourage participants to bring along friends and family to support and cheer them on throughout the event. Their encouragement helps create a fantastic atmosphere and makes the day even more enjoyable for everyone.

Will I receive my race time?

Both the 5K and 10K runs will be officially timed, with results and placements available on here

Will I receive a medal?
Every participant who successfully completes their event will receive a bespoke Community RunFest Rayleigh finisher's medal as a memento of their achievement.

What if my chip and number doesn’t arrive by post in time for the event?

If you register after the advertised 21st June, or your race pack has not arrived before event day, don't worry.

Report to the Registration Desk in King George V Park before the start of your event, where a member of the Community RunFest team will be happy to assist you and issue your race bib and timing chip.

We recommend arriving in good time to allow for collection before the event begins.
